I've created a new Workspace on GotDotNet for the Repton.NET project, and anyone interested in joining the project can sign up there.

I've restarted the project (yet again) but it would be good to get input from anyone else interested in helping to get the project completed.

So far, the following has been implemented:

• A support library to enable direct reading of the BBC Micro single sided disk image format (*.ssd images).
• Direct support for the original Repton 3 data files. All of the map data and graphics are read directly from the original files.
• I've started implementing the graphics rendering in DirectX 9, using the managed .NET classes. Anyone with relevant experience using DirectDraw in DX9/.NET will be most welcome.
• Rudimentary map rules.
